As a fireplace is quite a large investment you want to make sure you’ve made a good choice when you buy one, because you’re pretty much stuck with it for a long time. However if you’re like me, you’ll soon be fed up of it after only a few months of it being fitted. But fear not there are ways to change the appearance of your fire that won’t break the bank.

Find a new trim

I’d strongly recommend that you check with your retailer whether or not the new fret or trim you choose  is compatible with your fire before you buy!

Just by having a new trim, you can completely change the the look and feel of your fireplace without making any major changes in your living room. There are many trims to choose from that are compatible with most of the gas fires in our Verine and Kinder ranges.

Here’s a high quality steel Kinder Chamfered trim that comes in a brass or silver finish.

Find a new fret

You can also change the fret on your gas fire to give it a new look. The Kinder and Verine gas fires have many different styles of frets that can give your fireplace an update.

Remember to check if the fret you choose is compatible with your fire first!

There’s the Blenheim fret which is a more traditional gas fire fret design and comes in various sizes and in four different colours including antique brass and polished silver.
